The unofficial start of summer- Memorial Day- will start to feel a bit summery as a warm front pushes through the Finger Lakes.

This front is producing a few light rain showers this morning, but at least partly cloudy skies should develop by later this morning as the front clears the region. Temperatures and the humidity will rise as warm and humid air to our south moves in behind the front.

Temperatures should climb into the low and maybe mid 80s this afternoon, but the rain threat will not quite be over.

Precipitation over the Ohio Valley this morning will work in for the late afternoon and evening hours. Some scattered showers will result as this area moves into the Finger Lakes. While it should not be a washout this evening, more places than not may see some precipitation.

There will be another small chance for showers or maybe a thunderstorm on Tuesday followed by a slightly better chance on Wednesday with temperatures remaining in the 80s.

Have a Happy Memorial Day!
