This is Finger Lakes Weather meteorologist Drew Montreuil with your evening weather forecast update for Monday, March 27, 2017.

A few scattered rain showers continue to dot the Finger Lakes late this afternoon and will likely continue to do so this evening. The showers will not be widespread and what does fall will be mostly light. Outside of the showers, there could be some areas of drizzle and perhaps even a bit of fog. Otherwise, skies will mostly remain cloudy. Temperatures this evening will drop back into the 40s and should start Tuesday right near 40 degrees.

Rain will likely become more widespread after 8 am Tuesday morning as a new weather system tracks by to the south. There is a bit of uncertainty that the rain will even make it this far north, but at this point, I am keeping at least some showers in the forecast. Temperatures Tuesday will warm to around 50 degrees and the rain should gradually move out during the afternoon.
