A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the entire area until 9 PM tonight.
Damaging winds are the primary threat, with a 40% chance of 10 or more instances of damaging winds over the entirety of the watch. There is a 20% chance for 2 or more tornadoes.
These probabilities are in line with what we usually see for a lower end severe thunderstorm watch. Still, take any warnings seriously.
