When Finger Lakes Weather meteorologist and founder Drew Montreuil was in the 4th grade at Groton Elementary School, a special assembly changed his life. While he had always been interested in weather, meeting meteorologist Dave Eichorn of News Channel 9 out of Syracuse sparked a passion.
Now himself a meteorologist, Drew is the one to travel the region sharing his knowledge and passion for the weather. From Kindergarten classes to adult education programming, Drew brings the weather alive in a way that any aged audience can connect to. Drew has done presentations at public schools, private schools, for homeschooling groups, in libraries, online, to agricultural interest groups, to the elderly, and even in a bar (twice!).
Drew presents on a wide variety of topics, including the process of forecasting, general weather information, weather preparedness/safety and historical events. Please note that Drew does not present on the topic of climate change and global warming.
