Morning lake effect snow will gradually wind down, but a few areas of snow showers and flurries will linger through the afternoon and into the evening.

Morning snow accumulations may approach an inch throughout the region with little else the remainder of the day. The exception will be southern Cayuga and northeastern Tompkins counties, where 2 or 3 inches will be possible throughout the day.

Winds will be lighter than yesterday but still a little breezy at times. Localized minor blowing and drifting of the snow is possible. Temperatures will remain fairly steady throughout the day in the low and mid 20s, then drop to the 10s tonight.

Thanks again for these Planners! Interested how Seneca’s on the list for snow this time, pretty consistently through the day. No wide swings of snowbands.
PS, some urgent stuff has been on my plate for a couple weeks now. I THINK it’s almost clear, and I haven’t forgotten that I need to begin a paid subscription with you.

Yeah the main snow is setting up just a bit further west than usual. It’s all just wind direction, and subsequently, how the air moves over Lake Ontario… and other bodies of water (or iced over water) upstream.
