After a fairly nice day on Tuesday, the Finger Lakes region is in for an even better day on Wednesday.

Today will again by dry across the region with a good deal of sunshine, but there are two key differences that will make today better than Tuesday.

First, the wind will not be so gusty. A few afternoon gusts could still reach or exceed 20mph, but that is better than Tuesday’s gusts.

Secondly, it will be a few degrees warmer, with highs in the mid 60s at least.

Thursday is looking fairly nice as well, but there may be more clouds as a storm system dives south through the Great Lakes and taps into moisture from a second system moving off the coast of the Carolinas. Most of the rain that falls from these systems will be across the Mid-Atlantic, though a few showers may work into parts of the region on Friday. Areas further south and east will have a better chance at seeing some of this rain.

A shower may also be possible on Saturday, but Sunday is looking dry. Temperatures will be warm this weekend, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
