FLX Weather Notice- No Forecast (Illness)

No weather forecast blog posts will be available for the remainder of this week due to family illness.

No Forecast

Hello everyone.

Unfortunately, my house is getting hit hard with a (non-Covid) illness.

I do not have the focus, mental capacity, or time to make accurate forecasts, useful graphics, or to give this storm system the attention necessary given its high complexity and uncertainty…to say nothing of how I personally may be physically feeling over the coming days.

For information during this time, I would strongly encourage using the National Weather Service:

NWS Buffalo– for Allegany, Cayuga (north) Genessee, Livingston, Ontario, Monroe, Wayne, and Wyoming Counties

NWS Binghamton– for Cayuga (south), Chemung, Cortland, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, and Yates Counties

I will attempt to keep the zip-code forecasts and the app updated as best I can. If you have travel/impact questions, you may still send them to me, but my response may be delayed, if I am able to answer at all.

Stay well, be safe, and with luck, I’ll be back to my normal routine on Monday.

Sorry Drew! Hoping it’s not the stomach virus going around. I know of at least 15 people in Ithaca that currently have it. My daughter and I had it earlier this week and it was awful. I wish you and your family nothing but the best and a speedy recovery!
