Some early lake effect will quickly depart, followed by just a few scattered snow showers late in the day. Temperatures will again be cold with highs in the 10s, but winds will not be too strong.

Early Morning (3-7 AM)

Some areas of clear skies… some areas of clouds.

Flurries and squalls across Wayne, Cayuga, Onondaga, and Cortland counties with some sporadic snow showers in some nearby areas.

West winds around 10 mph.

Temperatures ranging from the mid 0s where skies are clear to the low 10s where skies are cloudy.

Morning (7-11 AM)

Some areas of clear skies… some areas of clouds.

Snow showers lifting north and departing the area.

Southwest winds around 10 mph.

Temperatures rising to the low and mid 10s.

Midday (11 AM-1 PM)

Some areas of clear skies… some areas of clouds.

No snow expected.

Southwest winds around 10 mph.

Temperatures increasing slightly but staying mainly in the low and mid 10s.

Afternoon (1-4 PM)

Some areas of clear skies… some areas of clouds.

A few late snow showers.

Southwest winds at 5-10 mph.

Temperatures holding steady until retreating slightly late.

Late Afternoon (4-6 PM)

Mostly cloudy.

A few scattered snow showers.

Southwest winds at 5-10 mph.

Temperatures dropping to the upper 0s and low 10s.

Evening (6-10 PM)

Mostly cloudy.

A few snow showers.

Southwest winds at 5-10 mph.

Temperatures ranging through the 0s.

Overnight (11 PM-3 AM)

Mostly cloudy.

A few snow showers.

Southwest winds around 10 mph.

Temperatures ranging through the 0s with a few cold pockets slipping below zero.
