A quick moving weather system will push in during the midday hours Friday with a period of widespread snow accumulating around an inch. Additional snow showers will come and go later in the afternoon, possibly mixing with or turning to rain in some areas. An associated cold front will move through early Friday evening with another burst of snow and more snow showers overnight. Some roads may get snowy after sunset. Winds will be blustery from the south with a high in the mid and upper 30s.

Temperatures mainly in the mid 30s.

Afternoon (1-5 PM)

Cloudy.

Periods of snow, possibly mixing with some rain late. A coating to an inch of total accumulation.

Southeast winds 10-15 mph. A few gusts over 30 mph.

Temperatures mainly in the mid 30s.

Late Afternoon (5-7 PM)

Mostly cloudy.

A few rain and snow showers.

South winds 10-15 mph. A few gusts over 30 mph.

Temperatures in the mid and upper 30s.

Evening (7-10 PM)

Mostly cloudy.

An early evening squall, then some additional snow showers. Some snowy roads.

Southwest winds increasing to around 15 mph. A few gusts over 30 mph.

Temperatures dropping slightly to the low and mid 30s.

Overnight (11 PM-3 AM)

Mostly cloudy.

Areas of snow showers. Some snowy roads.

Southwest winds around 15 mph. Gusts of 30-40 mph.

Temperatures dropping another degree or two, with mainly low 30s and a few mid 30s.
