Our area will again be near the very edge of an active belt of rain and thunderstorms tracking through the Upper Great Lakes into the Mid-Atlantic region. Therefore, a stray shower or storm cannot be ruled out, especially across the Southern Tier. A thunderstorm complex passing to the south during the evening could spread some light rain into the southern half of the region as well, but this remains quite uncertain. Overall, most areas will be dry throughout the day and probably the night, too. Winds will be light from the northwest, reducing dewpoints slightly to the mid and low 60s. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.
