Thursday will be humid with scattered showers as a frontal boundary slowly moves south through the region. Breezy north winds will set up for Friday, reducing the humidity and kicking off a stretch of high temperatures in the 60s. Another weather system will bring some showers on Sunday, but is trending further south, leading to a forecast early next week that is trending dry but cool.

Thursday
What: Scattered showers
Scattered showers are increasing across the area early Thursday morning. The morning hours will be the time where rain is most widespread and the chance for some downpours will be highest. The rain will especially be likely over the southeastern half of the region, but there may also be scattered showers elsewhere. Most of this activity should slide east by noon, but a few more, isolated, showers will likely pop up off and on through the afternoon.
Temperatures will mainly be in the mid 70s with some low 70s in higher elevations. Dewpoints will approach 70 degrees, making it feel quite humid. Winds will be light and variable but will end the day from the northwest.
A few more showers will be possible this evening with some clearing after midnight. Lows will be in the mid and upper 50s.
Friday
What: Sun and clouds
Friday looks dry and sunny with a few fair weather clouds. Winds will be breezy out of the north at around 10 mph, removing the humidity and bringing cooler air in. Highs will be in the upper 60s with a few urban areas hitting 70 degrees. Overnight lows will then fall to the upper 40s and low 50s.
Saturday
What: Sun and clouds
Saturday morning looks dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Saturday afternoon may see an increase in clouds later on, but with no precipitation expected. A few showers may move in during the evening with a better chance for rain between midnight and dawn Sunday. Winds will be light from the east, holding afternoon highs generally in the mid 60s.
Sunday
What: Scattered showers
The incoming weather system for Sunday is trending further south, which may mean less rain for our area. The morning hours will be favored for rainfall, but stray showers may linger into the early afternoon. Sunshine should work its way out later in the day. Winds will start from the southeast and end from the north. Highs will be in the low and mid 60s. Sunday night should turn partly cloudy or clear with lows in the low 50s.
Monday
What: Sun and clouds
With Sunday’s weather system trending further south, dry weather is becoming more likely on Monday and the days that follow. Currently, a mix of sun and clouds is expected with cool north-northeast winds to 10 mph. Afternoon highs will be in the low 60s with some higher elevations sticking to the upper 50s. Overnight lows will again be in the low 50s.
Tuesday
What: Sun and clouds
Like Monday, the forecast has trended toward dry, sunny, cool weather for Tuesday. Uncertainty is a bit higher compared to Monday, though. Temperatures should stay in the same range with most areas in the low 60s but cool pockets in the upper 50s, followed by lows in the upper 40s and low 50s.
Wednesday
What: Sun and clouds
No real change is expected for Wednesday with sun and clouds and highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Uncertainty remains high, though, so this could change.
Later Next Week
Much like the mid-week period, late next week is uncertain but with a higher chance for dry weather than for rain. Temperatures will not change much, sticking to the low 60s even into the weekend. Rain chances look a bit higher toward the weekend. Little can be said about the following week at this time.
