Rain and thunderstorms associated with the warm front continue to move through the area. No severe weather is expected with this activity, but heavy downpours and lightning are embedded within the larger area of rain.
This should depart the region during the midday hours. This will allow the atmosphere to recover, allowing for more significant thunderstorm activity this afternoon.
Air quality is unhealthy across the region as the warm front pushes smoke back into the area.
