Scattered showers will be possible Tuesday, especially during the second half of the morning into the first half of the afternoon. The day should end with an increase in sunshine. Northwest winds will blow at around 10 mph, but temperatures will still be a bit warmer than Monday with highs generally around 70 degrees. Tuesday night will be clear outside of some patchy fog and a few thin clouds after midnight. Overnight lows will be in the low and mid 50s.

With no significant humidity or anticipated air quality concerns for the foreseeable future, the mini-section that has been here for the last month or so has been removed for the time being.

Early Morning (3-7 AM)

Mostly cloudy.

Scattered showers, mainly north of the Thruway.

West winds 5-10 mph.

Temperatures in the mid and locally upper 50s.

Morning (7-11 AM)

Mostly cloudy.

Scattered showers.

Northwest winds around 10 mph.

Temperatures rise to the low and mid 60s.

Midday (11 AM-1 PM)

Mostly cloudy.

Scattered showers.

Northwest winds 10-15 mph.

Temperatures mostly in the upper 60s with some cooler higher elevations.

Afternoon (1-5 PM)

Mostly cloudy. Increasing sun late.

Scattered showers gradually ending.

Northwest winds around 10 mph.

Temperatures mainly near or slightly above 70 degrees, but in the upper 60s in higher elevations.

Late Afternoon (5-7 PM)

Sun and clouds.

Maybe a final lingering shower.

Northwest winds dropping under 10 mph.

Temperatures between 65-70 degrees.

Evening (7-11 PM)

Mostly clear. Some patchy fog.

No precipitation is expected.

West winds around or under 5 mph.

Temperatures drop to the mid and upper 50s.

Overnight (11 PM-3 AM)

A few thin clouds. Some patchy fog.

No precipitation is expected.

Southwest winds around or under 5 mph.

Temperatures in the low and mid 50s.
