The situation in Steuben County continues to deteriorate.
The Flash Flood Warning has been upgraded to a Flash Flood Emergency. Catastrophic, life threatening flooding is ongoing in the area.
My prayers are with all those in danger and the first responders putting themselves at risk in the service of others.
Additional flooding is likely, spreading north and east across the region, as this heavy rain band continues.
Please remember to not drive through floodwaters and have an action plan in place, particularly if in an area that is flood prone.
