Warm air surging north

10-13-14-6amTempsWarm air has moved into the Finger Lakes overnight and has set up quite the boundary between warm and cold.

Check out these temperatures from 6am this morning. While the Finger Lakes was balmy in the mid 50s, Saranac Lake was just 23º! Even the Albany area was down around 30º.

The other story here is the 24-hour temperature change. Yesterday morning at this time, many locations were also in the low 30s, with some even dipping into the upper 20s. 24-Hours later, and it is 20-30º warmer.

High temperatures today should push into the upper 60s and low 70s in the Finger Lakes, continuing our wild swing in temperatures.
