An area of low pressure over the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast US will spread some clouds north towards the Finger Lakes.
No precipitation from this low is expected until possibly Monday as high pressure remains a major influence in our overall weather pattern.
The cloudiest of the coming days will likely be Saturday, though Friday may end up fairly cloudy as well. I am a bit more optimistic about seeing some sun on Sunday.
Despite the extra cloud cover, temperatures will still be slightly above normal. Expect afternoon high temperatures just above 70 degrees Friday, Saturday, Sunday and into early next week.
As previously mentioned, some of the moisture from this low may sneak in on Monday with some scattered showers. There will also be a chance for a little rain on Tuesday as a cold front moves through. This front should put an end to our above normal temperatures, at least for a little while.
Temperatures from the middle of next week into next weekend look a bit below average, with 60s and possibly even some 50s for highs, depending on clouds and rain. However, as the cooler weather settles in here, warmth builds across the middle of the nation, leading me to believe we still have some more 70 degree weather ahead.
