This is Finger Lakes Weather meteorologist Drew Montreuil with your Wednesday evening weather forecast update for February 22nd, 2017.

High temperatures today topped out at or above 60 degrees for most of the Finger Lakes. As the sun sets, those temperatures will slip back through the 50s and into the 40s this evening. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, and a few rain showers will be possible early across the southern portions of the region.

Temperatures will again rise quickly Thursday under a mixed sky. Depending on how much sun works out, a few places could make a push towards 70 degrees during the afternoon. Some rain showers will arrive during the afternoon, with most of the precipitation working in after 4 pm.
