Evening Audio Weather Update- Monday, May 22, 2017 Transcript

Good afternoon! This is Finger Lakes Weather meteorologist Drew Montreuil with your evening forecast update for Monday, May 22, 2017.

Some partial clearing this afternoon helped boost temperatures into the mid and upper 60s, but another band of clouds is tracking through the Finger Lakes along a cold front. Skies should clear this evening behind the front and cool air will work into the region.

Temperatures should quickly fall through the 50s tonight and end up in the low and mid 40s by Tuesday morning. This will be near or just slightly below the normal low temperatures for this time of the year.

The temperature should warm quickly Tuesday morning under sunny skies with a high in the low 70s expected. The sunshine and mild afternoons will continue into Wednesday.
