Widespread snow from Tuesday night will come to an end early Wednesday morning. Additional snow showers and a few squalls will be possible with a cold front Wednesday afternoon, followed by some limited lake effect snow overnight. Most places should get above 35 degrees for a time during the midday and afternoon hours.

Widespread snow ending. Total accumulations from the overnight of 1-3 inches.

Temperatures rising into the upper 20s to near 30 degrees.

Just a few stray flurries.
Southwest winds at 10-15 mph.
Temperatures rising to the low and mid 30s.
Midday (11 AM-1 PM)

Temperatures mainly in the mid 30s but with some warmer and cooler pockets in the usual areas.
Afternoon (1-4 PM)
Mostly cloudy.
Scattered snow showers and a few brief squalls. A quick coating of snow, but no sustained accumulations.

Temperatures peak in the upper 30s to near 40 in the Southern Tier and near the larger Finger Lakes with mid 30s elsewhere.
