Temperatures will remain cool this weekend, especially on Saturday when some areas will struggle to even reach 60 degrees. Most of the time will be dry, however, with some light rain showers Friday evening with lingering drizzle Saturday morning. There will be little chance for rain throughout next week with temperatures generally remaining a bit cool.

Friday

What: Sun and clouds. Evening showers.

The majority of Friday will be dry with a mix of sun and clouds. It will not be as windy as Thursday, nor as cool with highs close to average around or slightly above 70 degrees. During the early and mid evening hours, an area of rain showers will drop south through the region along a cold front. These should be widespread enough that pretty much all areas will see some rain, but amounts will be low with generally under a tenth of an inch falling. Some additional showers and drizzle will continue overnight with lows in the upper 40s.

Saturday

What: A few showers

Lingering showers and drizzle from Friday night will persist into early Saturday. However, things should dry out as the day goes on with sun and clouds in the afternoon. North winds will increase, with gusts of 30-40 mph during the morning and only slightly lower gusts in the afternoon. Temperatures will cool with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Saturday night will see most areas falling well into the 40s. A few isolated cold pockets could end up in the upper 30s.

Sunday

What: Sun and thin clouds

Sunday is looking dry and sunny with just some thin clouds passing through. Northwest winds will be in place but with lighter speeds than on Saturday. Temperatures will rebound with upper 60s and a few urban and valley locations hitting 70 degrees. A few showers may swing through during the nighttime hours with lows in the upper 40s.

Monday

What: Sun and clouds. Maybe a shower.

A stray shower cannot be ruled out early Monday, but the majority of the day will just be dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Light winds will be more northerly than Sunday, knocking afternoon highs back to the mid and locally upper 60s.

Tuesday

What: Sun and clouds

The chances for rain on Tuesday are not completely at 0, but seem to be decreasing. Anything that falls will likely be light and scattered with most of the day turning out dry. Temperatures may be a couple degrees warmer than Monday, but still mostly in the 60s.

Wednesday

What: Sun and clouds

Like Tuesday, Wednesday looks mainly dry, but a stray shower cannot be totally ruled out. Anything that falls will be isolated, brief, and light. Temperatures will be similar to Tuesday

Extended Forecast

Temperatures should rebound into the low and mid 70s late next week and through next weekend. Rain chances are uncertain, but generally look highest late in the weekend or early in the following week. Temperatures as we head toward the middle third of June look a bit warmer with increasing chances for reaching the 80s.
