It seems like whenever thunderstorms are brought up, the phrase, “especially in Ithaca, and Tompkins County” should be added. A severe thunderstorm happened to us yesterday, and I’m preparing for it to happen again. If there’s even a chance of a thunderstorm, there’s GOING to be a thunderstorm in this area. At least that’s what it feels like this time of year.

Hi Drew – is there any way to get a closer look at which areas could expect rain? I’m thinking about my garden, and whether I need to water in the morning as I’ll be away most of tomorrow! I’m in East Genoa.

Thanks for any help, and it’s okay if it’s not the kind of thing that can be pin pointed.

Mostly hit or miss tomorrow, so it will just be luck of the draw for any given location.
