High pressure will gradually build into the area on Friday, taking skies from mostly cloudy early on to mostly sunny by the end of the day. Light northwest winds will blow, holding highs mainly to the low 70s with some warmer and cooler pockets. Friday night will be clear with some valley fog toward dawn and overnight lows in the lower half of the 50s and perhaps locally upper 40s.
