Friday

What: Sun and clouds. A stray shower.

Most areas will remain dry on Friday, with just a few very brief, sporadic showers. These will be most likely from the mid-morning to the midday or early afternoon. Otherwise, there will be some sun poking out between clouds in the morning with increasing sunshine in the afternoon. Temperatures will top out in the low to locally mid 70s, with dewpoints in the low 60s. Winds will be from the north-northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Friday night will be cool with lows in the upper 40s and low 50s and areas of valley fog.

Saturday

What: Sun and clouds.

Saturday should be a dry day with a mix of sun and clouds. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 70s, dewpoints will fall back to the 50s, and winds will variable and light with speeds around 5 mph. Overnight lows will be around 60 degrees as a light south wind develops.

Sunday

What: Sun and clouds.

Dry weather will persist into Sunday with the typical mix of sun and clouds. Light south and southwest winds will push highs to around 80 degrees with dewpoints around or just over 60 degrees. There is a small chance for a shower during the late afternoon or nighttime hours, but most if not all of the area should ultimately stay dry. Overnight lows in the mid 60s.

Monday

What: Scattered showers.

Monday will have clouds, some sun, and some occasional showers to dodge. There is a small chance for some periods of steadier rain, but the day could also end up mostly dry. The truth likely lies somewhere in the middle. Temperatures will probably be a couple degrees below Sunday’s highs, but dewpoints should be higher, rising into the 60s. Winds will be light and variable.

Tuesday

What: Sun and clouds. A few showers or storms.

A few showers and storms will be possible on Tuesday, especially during the afternoon. Not all areas will necessarily see rain, though. Temperatures will reach at least the low 80s, but some mid 80s are not out of the question. Dewpoints will be well into the 60s, making it feel a bit muggy. Winds will be from the southwest around 10 mph.

Wednesday

What: Scattered showers and storms.

Wednesday may have the highest chances for rain next week with scattered showers and storms likely. Of course, the fine details of how the day evolves are uncertain this far out. It should be a muggy day with highs somewhere around 80 degrees.

Thursday

What: A few showers

Current projections have the unsettled weather letting up by Thursday, though a few morning showers cannot be ruled out, especially this far in advance. Temperatures should take a step back into the mid 70s.

Next Weekend

Weather models are mixed on next weekend’s weather, with some bringing back muggy and unsettled conditions. Others have a weekend more like this weekend, with dry conditions. There does seem to be a greater consensus in unsettled weather early the following week, possibly impacting Labor Day.
