Tuesday

What: Sun and a few clouds

Tuesday will be a sunny day with just a few clouds here and there, mainly during the time from the late morning through mid-afternoon. Northwest winds will increase through the morning, topping out near 10 mph during the midday. Later in the afternoon, wind speeds will start to decrease again and the wind direction will become more westerly.

Afternoon highs will reach the mid and upper 50s. Tuesday evening, winds will be calm and skies clear, but a south wind will pick up overnight, increasing to 5-10 mph. This should keep overnight lows mostly above 40 degrees.

Wednesday

What: A couple showers

Southerly winds will persist on Wednesday, increasing to 10-15 mph as they turn to a southwest wind. This will push temperatures into the mid and upper 60s during the afternoon with a few urban areas hitting 70 degrees.

As the warmer air comes in, some clouds will develop and perhaps a few stray showers will become possible. The highest chance for rain will be in the mid to late afternoon, but not everyone will see rain. The rain that does fall should be relatively brief with low amounts.

The chance for a few showers will persist overnight, as will southwest winds. Overnight lows will be in the low and mid 50s.

Thursday

What: A couple showers

A weak cold front will slide through on Thursday with another relatively small chance for showers. Rain amounts will be minimal and some areas will once again not see any rainfall. A very brief downpour or rumble of thunder cannot be ruled out. There should be quite a bit of sunshine, too. Winds will increase behind the front, turning to the west-northwest at around 15 mph for a couple hours in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid 60s with overnight lows in the mid 40s.

Friday

What: Sun and clouds

High pressure will take over behind Thursday’s cold front. Friday will have sunshine and a few clouds with winds remaining out of the northwest. Wind speeds will be around 10 mph. Afternoon highs will be in the low 60s before temperatures drop back to the mid 40s overnight.

Saturday

What: Sunny

Saturday looks bright and sunny. A few small clouds may bubble up for the late morning and afternoon, but skies will generally be sun-filled. Winds will be from the south, increasing to around 10 mph. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 60s with nighttime temperatures in the low 50s as south winds persist.

Sunday

What: Sun and clouds. Some late showers.

A weather system will approach the area on Sunday. Most of the day looks dry with some sunshine, but showers may be possible late in the day with more widespread rain possible overnight. Winds will be steady from the south around 10 mph, pushing highs to around 70 degrees. Overnight lows will stay well above 50 degrees.

Monday

What: Early showers

Rain Sunday night will taper to scattered showers on Monday. These will be most likely during the morning and should taper off and end during the afternoon. Winds are expected to be light and temperatures mild with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.

Next Week

Scattered showers will be possible throughout next week. It will probably not end up raining every day, or even most days, but the models are too variable to pinpoint which days may turn out showery. None of the rain looks overly heavy or steady, though. Temperatures will drop from the mild start to the week, with highs in the 55-65 degree range from midweek on.
