A few pop up showers are expected Thursday afternoon, followed by dry days Friday and Saturday. Hurricane Isaias will make landfall along the central Gulf coast Friday night. Clouds associated with Isaias will gradually move in on Saturday, followed by some rain at some point on Sunday. A cold front will pass through the area Thursday morning. A few stray showers may be possible ahead of the front. Cooler air build in aloft will interact with daytime heating to pop up a few more showers and maybe a thunderstorm in the late afternoon and early evening. Warm air will surge back into the area on Wednesday thanks to steady south winds. As the warmer air builds in, a few stray showers may be possible, mainly early in the morning, and again late in the afternoon and into the nighttime hours.
