Dry weather is expected this weekend with just a small chance for a stray shower on Sunday. Temperatures will be warm with highs in the lower half of the 80s with low humidity. Rain chances will increase early next week, culminating in a chance for heavy rain and thunderstorms Tuesday. High pressure brings dry and sunny weather, warming temperatures

A large area of high pressure extends across the Northeast and Midwest and will be our dominant weather feature for the next few days. Rain is not expected until a few stray showers late Sunday with a better chance Monday and especially Tuesday.
