Rain is moving through the Finger Lakes Friday morning out ahead of a cold front that will push through during the late afternoon and evening hours.
Our extended stretch of dry, very warm weather had to end eventually. Now, as the calendar flips from September to October, the weather is finally getting back to normal.
Much like last Wednesday, the Finger Lakes has slid from summer back to early spring with well below normal temperatures settling into the region.
Long gone is the hot and humid airmass that has been baking the Finger Lakes since late last week. In its place, below normal temperatures are moving in.
