A couple of areas of showers and thunderstorms are moving through the Finger Lakes.
As of 4 PM, one storm cell near Rochester has prompted a severe thunderstorm warning. Some additional brief spurts of severe weather will continue to be possible with damaging winds the primary threat.
These storms will continue to move eastward and additional development through the late afternoon will be possible before the activity tapers off after sunset.
