Early morning snow will give way to rain showers as warmer air works into the Finger Lakes ahead of an arctic cold front.

Temperatures will rise into the upper 30s and low to mid 40s by this afternoon ahead of a cold front.

As this warmer air pushes in, there has been some snow over the eastern Finger Lakes this morning. This snow will continue to push east and will be replaced by rain showers, which will be scattered trough the region today, but especially this afternoon.

Cold air will return to the Finger Lakes tonight as the cold front pushes east. Lake effect snow will be likely southeast and south of Lake Ontario, with locally heavy snow and moderate accumulations possible.

Cold, snow and wind will continue on Sunday.

How about Sunday and Monday Drew? Also, what do you think is going to be happening at the end of this month, start of April? I have family coming into town for a visit from the UK and we’re trying to plan our time!
