Evening Weather Forecast: February 13 Transcript
This is Finger Lakes Weather meteorologist Drew Montreuil with your Monday evening weather forecast update for February 13th, 2017.
The storm system that brought rain, ice and snow to the Finger Lakes over the last two days is finally pulling away. The strong winds and lake effect will continue to diminish this evening, leaving a quiet overnight period. Temperatures will be chilly tonight, but southerly winds and a little sun will help Tuesday to turn out quite nice.
So the forecast for tonight is for variable cloudiness, with a few lingering lake effect flurries over the eastern Finger Lakes. Temperatures will drop into the single digits and low teens, but will start to warm by daybreak.
Tuesday will have a mix of sun and clouds, with temperatures pushing into the low 40s. Some light rain and snow will move in Tuesday night and will linger into Wednesday.
Be sure to check your zip-code forecast at any time on FLXWeather.com. Have a wonderful night.
