Temperatures ranging through the 0s; warmest near Lake Ontario, coldest in the Southern Tier.

Overcast skies.
Maybe a stray snow shower, mainly late in the morning.
Southwest winds around 10 mph.
Temperatures rising to the mid and upper 0s with a few places near Lake Ontario rising to the low 10s.
Midday (11 AM-1 PM)
Overcast skies.
A few stray snow showers possible.
Southwest winds increasing to 10-15 mph.
Temperatures increasing slightly to the upper 0s and low 10s.
Afternoon (1-4 PM)
Overcast skies.
On and off, mainly light snow showers.
Southwest winds steady at 10-15 mph.
Temperatures ranging from the upper 0s to mid 10s.
Late Afternoon (4-6 PM)
Overcast skies.
On and off, mainly light snow showers.
Southwest winds dropping to around 10 mph.
Temperatures dipping a degree or two off the afternoon high, but still mainly ranging from the upper 0s to mid 10s.
Evening (6-10 PM)
Mostly cloudy.
A couple stray flurries. Some lake effect right along the shore of Lake Ontario in Wayne and Cayuga counties.
Winds turning to the west and increasing to near 15 mph.
Temperatures mainly holding steady between 5 and 10 degrees across the southern half of the region, and 10 and 15 degrees to the north.
Overnight (11 PM-3 AM)
Partly to mostly cloudy.
Lake effect in Onondaga county, stretching west toward Rochester along and north of the Thruway. Locally a few inches of fluff.
West winds up to 15 mph.
Temperatures dropping slightly to a range from the mid 0s to the low 10s.
