Warm air will try to nose into the region but will be unable to fully dislodge cooler air, resulting in a large west to east temperature gradient across the region Friday and Friday night. Some areas of fog and drizzle will be possible in the morning and again tonight, but actual rain is unlikely.

Temperatures mostly in the mid 40s, but warmer from Dansville to Rochester, and cooler in and around Cortland County.

Temperatures rising a couple degrees across the board, but remaining much warmer in the northwest compared to the southeast.
