The weather this week will not be anything out of the ordinary for late March with rising and falling temperatures and a few chances for both rain and snow showers.
Monday
What: Cloudy. A few snow showers.
Impacts: Locally a light coating of snow tonight.
A few stray snow showers are showing up on radar this morning, and a few more are expected this evening. The snow showers tonight will be a bit more widespread and heavier than the ones this morning, but only a localized light coating of accumulation is expected. Some breaks of sun may try to poke through the overcast this afternoon. Blustery north winds will keep temperatures cool with highs in the low and mid 30s.

Tuesday
What: Morning sun, afternoon clouds
No precipitation is expected on Tuesday. The day will start sunny and cool with lows well down into the 20s. Clouds will gradually increase during the afternoon hours, though some sun may still filter through at times. Winds will generally be light, starting from the north, turning to the south, and ending from the west and northwest. Afternoon highs should break into the 40s for most.

Wednesday
What: Sun and clouds. A few late rain showers
Temperatures will continue to rise on Wednesday with highs well into the 40s. A few of the typically warmer valley locations may even be able to reach 50 degrees. Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds, though a few rain showers may arrive late in the day as a secondary push of warmer air makes its way into the region. Steady, but not strong south winds will persist throughout the daytime and nighttime hours. Nighttime temperatures will drop little, staying in the mid 40s.
Thursday
What: More clouds. A better chance for rain late.
Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with highs well into the 50s and possibly near 60 degrees. There is a bit of uncertainty, though, with a sharp frontal boundary expected to be nearby to the north. This front will likely drop south at some point later in the day with a period of rain and possibly some thunder, followed by quickly falling temperatures. With the front nearby, winds should remain on the lighter side.
Friday
What: Temperatures reset
Friday is expected to be a quiet day with a mix of sun and clouds. True to the up-and-down nature of March, temperatures will be much colder with highs similar to today, locked away in the 30s. A steady north wind is likely, but like the rest of the week, this should not get too strong.
Weekend Weather & Beyond
Saturday will remain cool with a few snow showers possible as a small weather system passes through. Little to no accumulation is expected if this even verifies at all. Temperatures will spend the day in the 30s.
Sunday will be a bit warmer with highs possibly returning to the 40s with a mix of sun and clouds.
No significant weather pattern changes are expected next week, either. Temperatures will steadily climb, reaching the 50s by the middle of the week. There is a chance that the drop on the other side may be delayed or less significant, but major warmth isn’t expected at this time either. Precipitation will likely continue to come and go every couple of days, but generally remain on the lighter side.
Early outlooks for April from the Climate Predication Center do not indicate strong chances for anything atypical, either when it comes to temperatures or precipitation, so we can probably assume more of the same with our temperatures peaks gradually getting higher and our dips gradually getting less and less cold.
