Much of the weather this weekend will be on the quieter side, but temperatures will be taking a dip behind a late cold front on Friday. Much warmer air is expected throughout next week.
Friday
What:Â Increasing clouds. Late afternoon rain.
The first half of Friday will have some filtered sunshine and mild temperatures. Afternoon highs will peak in the 65-70 degree range for most areas during the early afternoon. The front will drop south during the latter afternoon, bringing rain and cool air from northwest to southeast. The front will not finish clearing the region until this evening, with everyone dropping down into the 30s overnight.

Saturday
What:Â Morning clouds. Afternoon sun.
A steady northwest wind will keep temperatures down on Saturday, though it should not be too strong of a wind. Afternoon highs will mainly be 45-50 degrees. The day will start cloudy and a few stray flurries cannot be ruled out. Over time, the sun will erode the clouds away, and the afternoon should turn mostly sunny. Clear skies and light winds overnight will send temperatures into the low 30s.
Sunday
What:Â Increasing clouds. Late afternoon rain.
Sunday will be rather cloudy, though some morning sun will still be possible. A few rain showers will also be possible from the mid-morning onward, but by far the greatest chance for rain will be late in the day. South winds will give temperatures a slight boost into the lower half of the 50s. Warm air will continue to move in after sunset, with temperatures rising a few degrees overnight.
Monday
What:Â A few showers.
Monday will see highs push well into the 60s as southerly flow persists. Sunshine is questionable, though, and a few scattered showers will be possible at any time. It will not be a washout of a day, though.
Tuesday-Thursday
What:Â A few showers, maybe a thunderstorm.
The middle of next week looks warm and a bit unsettled. Scattered rain showers will continue to be possible at any time. A few thunderstorms could pop up as well, but at this time, an organized thunderstorm event looks less likely. All of these days should be warm with highs into the 70s. Overnight lows may not drop below 60 degrees some of the nights.
Late Next Week & Beyond
Temperatures should drop back late next week and next weekend. It will probably not get cold… just not so warm. Precipitation is too uncertain this far out, though the chances look lower for at least part of the weekend. The following week has a very large spread of possibilities showing on the models, so conditions are too uncertain to draw any conclusions at this time.
