Tuesday will be warm and breezy once again with highs pushing well into the 70s. A band of rain and thunderstorms may develop during the late morning and early afternoon hours with a localized damaging wind threat, but the development of the band over the Finger Lakes is still somewhat uncertain as of Monday night.

Mostly cloudy.

A few scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the western half of the region.

South winds 10-15 mph. Isolated damaging winds possible in any thunderstorms.

Temperatures rising to the mid 60s.

Midday (11 AM-1 PM)

Mostly cloudy.

Potentially a line of showers and thunderstorms, but its development and timing is uncertain.

Southwest winds 15-20 mph. Non-thunderstorm gusts as high as 35 mph. Isolated damaging winds possible in any thunderstorms.

Temperatures rising into the low and mid 70s.

Afternoon (1-5 PM)

Mostly cloudy. Increasing sun late.

Potentially an early line of showers and thunderstorms, but its development and timing is uncertain.

Southwest winds around 15 mph. Non-thunderstorm gusts as high as 35 mph. Isolated damaging winds possible in any thunderstorms.

Temperatures in the mid 70s.

Late Afternoon (5-7 PM)

Becoming mostly sunny.

No precipitation expected.

Southwest winds at 10-15 mph.

Temperatures in the low 70s.

Evening (7-10 PM)

Mostly clear.

No precipitation expected.

Southwest winds 5-10 mph.

Temperatures slowly dropping to the mid 60s.

Overnight (11 PM-3 AM)

Mixed skies.

Some late rain possible.

Southwest winds around 5 mph.

Temperatures mainly in the low 60s with a few eastern areas slipping below 60 degrees.
