The first week of June will be marked by quiet, sunny weather and seasonable temperatures. There will be little day to day variation, though temperatures will slowly and steadily increase, reaching the 80s by the end of the week. Rain is not expected until some scattered showers this weekend.
Monday
What:Â Sunny. A few clouds.
Skies will be mostly sunny on Monday, though a few fair weather clouds will likely bubble up. Winds will be out of the north at around 10 mph, keeping highs mostly in the mid and upper 60s. Clear skies and light winds during the night will send temperatures down into the mid 40s.
Tuesday
What: Sun and clouds
There should be an increase in clouds on Tuesday. Many of these will be thin clouds that should only filter, not totally block out the sun. The further west, the thinner and fewer the clouds should be. Winds will again be northerly at around 10 mph. Afternoon highs will be around 70 degrees. The nighttime hours will clear out with calm winds and lows in mid and upper 40s.
Wednesday
What: Sunny. A few clouds.
Wednesday will be similar to Monday with lots of sun and just a few small fair weather clouds. Winds will be from the northwest at under 10 mph. Temperatures will add a few more degrees with highs in the mid 70s. Another clear, calm night is expected with lows in the 50s.
Thursday
What: Sun and clouds
Sun and fair weather clouds are expected on Thursday. Winds will be from the west at only around 5 mph. Many areas will make a run at 80 degrees during the afternoon with overnight lows in the mid 50s.
Friday
What: Sun and clouds
Cloud cover may start to increase more notably on Friday as unsettled weather slowly approaches from the west. A few rain showers may even be possible Friday night. Winds will be from the west at around 10 mph with highs in the low 80s with a few warmer pockets possible. Nighttime temperatures will be around 60 degrees.
Weekend
What: Scattered showers
Rain looks likely this weekend, though it will probably mostly be scattered showers here and there. If there is going to be a day with steadier rain, Sunday looks more likely than Saturday. Temperatures will remain warm with highs near or slightly under 80 degrees, though that could change if a steadier rain becomes more likely. Northwest winds are expected on Saturday, followed by southeast winds on Sunday, both at around 10 mph.
Extended Forecast
Next week is looking much more unsettled with several chances for rain. With warm air holding in place, thunderstorms could also be possible, which could lead to some locally heavier rain amounts. It is too far out to pinpoint which days will be the rainiest, though.
