Weather Planner: Wednesday, July 1, 2026

Temperatures and humidity will both be higher on Wednesday, sending heat index values over 100, and in some areas, over 110. Precautions against heat related illnesses should be taken. With the heat and humidity, a few scattered showers or storms may be possible at any time. While no major, organized severe threats are showing on the weather models at this time, they continue to perform poorly in this set up, and storm clusters passing through the Upper Great Lakes and Canada will need to be watched for potential impacts in the Finger Lakes, directly or less directly. Special updates, including any severe weather warnings, will show up automatically in this post.
