Friday’s weather will continue to be hot and humid, though perhaps slightly less so than Wednesday and Thursday. A shower or storm could pop up at any time, but the afternoon will have the greatest chance. A more organized complex of storms cannot be ruled out, either. Any storm will be capable of frequent lightning, torrential downpours, strong winds, and perhaps some hail. The storm threat will be lower during the evening, then perhaps a bit higher again overnight. It will be another warm night with lows around 70 degrees.

Temperatures mainly in the low 70s.

Temperatures rise quickly, reaching the upper 80s. Heat index values rising through the 90s.

Midday (11 AM-1 PM)

Partly cloudy.

A few scattered showers and storms possible.

West around 10 mph.

Temperatures rise into the low 90s. Heat index values of 95-105.
