
After a sunny day Friday, both Saturday and Sunday will have a chance for some afternoon and evening rain with mild temperatures will into the 70s. Some of the rain may come in the form of thunderstorms on Sunday. A few showers may linger into Monday with cool temperatures before 70s and sunshine return Wednesday. A couple more quick moving weather systems are expected next week.

Friday
What: Sun and clouds.
Friday looks dry and sunny with a few fair weather clouds. Light northwest winds will turn calm late in the day, then light from the south at night. Highs will be around 70 degrees and overnight lows will range through the upper 40s and lower half of the 50s with areas of fog.
Saturday
What: Sun and clouds. A few showers.
A push of warmer air will make its way into the area Saturday, leading to some scattered showers late in the afternoon and over the southern half of the region. Not all areas will see rain. Temperatures will range from the low 70s in the south, where clouds are more plentiful, to the upper 70s in the north. it will be a mild night with overnight lows in the mid 60s.
Sunday
What: A few showers
The cold front associated with this weekend’s system will pass through on Sunday, leading to some late afternoon showers and thunderstorms. How many thunderstorms are able to develop is still uncertain, but any that do form could have some downpours and gusty winds. Widespread or significant severe weather is not expected. Highs will be in the mid and upper 70s. Nighttime temperatures will drop to the mid 50s as cooler air starts to build in.

Monday
What: A few showers early. Some eventual sun.
Clouds will linger on Monday, possibly accompanied by a few scattered showers during the morning hours. Later in the day, some sun should eventually start to come out. Winds will be steady from the north-northwest, helping hold temperatures to the mid 60s for many areas.
Tuesday
What: Sun and clouds.
Tuesday is looking dry with a mix of sun and clouds. A south wind will develop, helping highs in the mid 70s.
Wednesday
What: Scattered showers and storms.
Another quick moving system will pass through on Wednesday with some scattered showers and perhaps a couple thunderstorms. Temperatures will depend on the timing of this weather system, but should be somewhere in the 70s.
Thursday
What: A few early showers. Some late sun.
Showers may linger into early Thursday, but this will ultimately depend on the timing and speed of Wednesday’s system. Sun should increase later in the day. Northwest winds will develop, but cooler air may lag behind, leading to highs remaining in the 70s.
Next Weekend
Next weekend may also be unsettled as another weather system swings through the area. This could lead to some chilly air late in the weekend or early the following week with a small chance for a day or two with highs in the 50s.
