A new area of high pressure will build in for the weekend, keeping skies sunny with no chance for rain. Temperatures will be a bit cool on Friday, but will steadily warm through the weekend with mid 60s on Sunday and Monday. Another dry front on Monday will reset temperatures back to the 50s for the middle of next week. There may finally be a little rain in the forecast late next week, but with still minimal amounts.

Friday
What:Â Morning sun, afternoon clouds
Friday is starting with clear skies and a little patchy fog. Sunshine will dominate through the morning, midday and early afternoon. Then, an area of thin clouds will move through for the mid and late afternoon. These clouds may filter the sunshine a bit, but it will probably not become completely overcast. No rain will fall. Light north and northeast winds will blow with speeds around 5 mph. Afternoon highs will mainly be in the mid 50s. Skies will clear overnight, allowing temperatures to drop into the upper 20s and low and mid 30s.
Saturday
What: Sunny
Sunshine is expected throughout Saturday with few if any clouds. Winds will be nearly calm, but what little breeze there is will generally be from the south. Temperatures will rise to the upper 50s and low 60s in the afternoon, then fall back into the 30s at night. It will generally be a degree or two less cold Saturday night compared to Friday night as south winds become a little better established, but there may still be a couple areas that slip into the 20s.
Sunday
What:Â Sunny
Sunshine will also dominate Sunday. South winds at or just above 5 mph will help temperatures increase further. Afternoon highs in the mid and perhaps upper 60s area possible. The south wind and some passing clouds will help keep most areas in the 40s Sunday night.
Monday
What: Sun and clouds
Another small weather system will approach the area on Monday, leading to some clouds mixing with the sunshine. A shower cannot be totally ruled out, but like with Thursday’s front, measurable precipitation will be almost unheard of. Winds will turn from the south to the northwest during the afternoon with the frontal passage. Temperatures should at least reach the mid 60s. Overnight lows will drop to the upper half of the 30s with a few low 40s along the lake shores.
Tuesday
What: Sun and clouds
A mix of sun and clouds is expected on Tuesday. North winds will blow at around 5 mph, locking highs into the low and mid 50s. Some clouds will linger into the nighttime hours with winds turning to the southeast. Overnight lows will range through the 30s.
Wednesday
What: Sun and clouds
South winds will gradually increase, reaching 10 mph in the afternoon. Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures should at least reach the mid and possibly upper 50s. Wind speeds will increase further Wednesday night, holding temperatures to the mid 40s.
Thursday
What: A few showers
A weak front is expected late next week, probably on Thursday. A few showers will be possible with the front. If it does rain, it will probably not amount to much, though. Temperatures Thursday will depend on the timing of the front and extent of the clouds and any showers. Highs slightly above 60 degrees is a reasonable ballpark guess this far out.
Late Next Week & Beyond
Friday may bring a few more showers. Halloween on Saturday continues to lean dry, but a new, more active and wetter pattern is expected as we head into November. Temperatures will probably be on the decline as well.
