Our area will again be near the very edge of an active belt of rain and thunderstorms tracking through the Upper Great Lakes into the Mid-Atlantic region. Therefore, a stray shower or storm cannot be ruled out, especially across the Southern Tier. A thunderstorm complex passing to the south during the evening could spread some light rain into the southern half of the region as well, but this remains quite uncertain.
