Rain continues to fall throughout the Finger Lakes with some heavier rain moving into the southwestern FLX.
In particular, a band of heavy rain from Pennsylvania with a history of flooding is moving north into eastern Steuben, western Chemung, western Schuyler, and Yates counties. This will be the area of greatest risk over the next 1 to 2 hours for flash flooding.
UPDATE, 9:36 AM- A flash flood warning has been issued in the same areas discussed with flooding being reported near Bath.
The intensity of the rainfall, as a whole, will continue to increase this morning and into the afternoon as low pressure tracks north through central Pennsylvania. A tornado watch remains in effect over northeastern PA, and the severe threat over our eastern counties will need to be monitored later today.
