Wednesday will be a rather nice day across the Finger Lakes, following the trend so far this week. A good deal of sunshine will mix in with some fair weather clouds throughout the day. Temperatures will rise to near 80 for many areas.

There is just a slight, outside chance for a shower or thunderstorm, mostly across the western parts of the Southern Tier. If anything develops, it would be late in the day and would likely die out quickly as the sun sets. The overnight should be quiet.

There will be a better chance for showers and thunderstorms on Thursday as a front moves through. Temperatures will be a bit warmer, with highs in the low to perhaps mid 80s. Thunderstorms will be most likely during the afternoon and evening hours, with some showers lingering overnight and possibly into early Friday morning.

The remainder of Friday, as well as Saturday, looks nice once again. Highs will be in the 70s with sunny skies and no precipitation.

The weather will become more unsettled Sunday and into early next week. Numerous chances for rain will be possible, and temperatures will fall below normal for most of next week.

As you can see, the redesign of Finger Lakes Weather has been completed! While there are still some subtle updates to do, and probably a couple of bugs to work out, most everything is functioning!
