Weekend Weather Forecast
High pressure will largely keep control of our weather through the weekend and even into Monday.
Sunshine, low humidity, and light winds will be the result.
Friday will be sunny with a mix of fair weather clouds. These clouds will bubble up during the morning and fizzle away in the late afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will mainly stay under 80 degrees, though a few urban areas will probably get that warm. Dewpoints will remain low in the 50s.
Skies will be clear most of tonight but may end with some thin clouds moving in just before dawn. Overnight lows will be in the mid and upper 50s.
Saturday will be a bit different as thin clouds spread across the region early, filtering some of the sunlight. The further northwest in the region, the lower the chances for these clouds.
The afternoon sky should gradually transition back to some fair weather clouds before skies clear again for the evening.
Temperatures will be a touch warmer with highs in the low 80s. Urban centers may approach 85 degrees.
Nighttime temperatures will add a couple degrees with lows averaging out around 60 degrees.
On Sunday, a subtle, weak frontal boundary will slide south into the area. Mostly this will increase the clouds a little.
A stray spit of rain, likely not enough to wet the pavement, cannot be totally ruled out in the afternoon. The further north, the higher the chances of this happening.
Temperatures on Sunday will be similar to Saturday, but probably a degree or two cooler in the north, and a degree or two warmer in the south.
Weather Next Week
Monday will pick up where the weekend left off. Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds and no rain is expected.
Temperatures will rise again, reaching the mid 80s in most areas. Dewpoints may creep up slightly, but should still remain comfortable.
Unsettled weather will return on Tuesday in the form of showers and thunderstorms. These showers and storms may linger throughout the day, with highs in the low 80s.
Wednesday will have a continued chance for scattered showers and maybe a stray thunderstorm. Overall, there should be less rain than on Tuesday.
Thursday will be similar with some scattered showers, but nothing too intense or heavy expected.
Friday may see another uptick in scattered showers and storms, but the weekend, while very early to be specific, looks to have just a few stray showers.
Temperatures throughout next week will stick to the lower half of the 80s with a slight increase in temperatures towards next weekend.
