Dry Weather Continues
A series of high pressure systems will continue to bring warm, sunny daytimes for the next several days.
The day-to-day variability in the weather will be minimal, with each day closely matching the day before.
The main difference in the weather today versus yesterday will be a few more thin clouds in the otherwise sunny skies. These clouds will not reduce the sunshine at all and are not the type that produce even a slim chance for a few raindrops.
Winds throughout the day will be light and variable, if not just completely calm.
Temperatures will rise steadily this morning, with most areas in the mid 70s this afternoon. Only a few isolated warmer and cooler pockets are expected.
Tonight, skies will be clear and winds will be nearly calm. Lows in the mid and upper 40s are expected across the southern areas, while to the north, lows will be around or just over 50 degrees.
Thursday will add some fair weather clouds during the daytime heating cycle. These will mainly be small clouds with no rain, and there should be an abundance of sunshine still.
Winds will be from the north with speeds near or slightly above 5 mph. These north winds will not impact the temperatures at all, with highs generally in the mid 70s again.
Friday will be nearly identical, with lows in the 40s to the south and low 50s to the north and afternoon highs in the mid 70s. North winds will remain, but will stay closer to 5 mph. Fair weather clouds will mix in with the sunshine.
Saturday morning will be a couple degrees warmer with fewer 40s in the south and low and mid 50s to the north. Afternoon highs will likewise be just a touch warmer, with upper 70s showing in the typically warmer valley and urban locations.
Winds will remain light, with a southerly direction. Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds, both thin clouds aloft and lower fair weather clouds. The clouds should thicken up late in the day.

Chance For Some Rain
A slow moving weather system will move in Saturday night and linger into the early part of next week.
The details of how this system will impact our region are still shifting on the models, and thus forecast confidence is lower than usual.
However, the models are trending toward a rainier solution that may actually offset a little of the dryness this week and over the last month plus.
Rain may start to move into the region as early as Saturday evening. Rain showers are likely on Sunday, and Monday could turn out to be more consistently rainy.
At least a few showers may linger into Tuesday as well.
There are still a handful of models that keep most or even all the rain out of our area, but more and more are showing rain over this time period.
On average, the models are showing around an inch of rain, though that average is propped up a little by a handful of models showing anywhere from 2 to 4 inches. Most model solutions are settled in the half to one inch range.
The amount of rain expected will probably become more clear over the next few days, and as always, localized variations are expected and may be large.
There does not look to be a large chance for thunderstorms, though a couple rumbles of thunder may be possible here and there.
Temperatures should remain in the low 70s during this time period, then should rise a bit as the weather clears toward the middle of next week.
