Another cold front will drop south through the area Friday evening. Ahead of the front, most areas will return to the low and mid 70s during the afternoon with ample sunshine. Widespread rain showers ahead of the front will get everyone wet during the evening hours, but rain amounts will be low. By midnight, the front will be to the south, rain will taper to drizzle, and temperatures will be dropping into the 40s.

Early Morning (3-7 AM)

Mostly clear. A few stray clouds.

No precipitation expected.

West and northwest winds around 5 mph.

Temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Morning (7-11 AM)

Sunny with a few stray clouds.

No precipitation expected.

West-northwest winds 5-10 mph.

Temperatures rising to the low and mid 60s.

Midday (11 AM-1 PM)

Sunny with a few stray clouds.

No precipitation expected.

West-northwest winds around 10 mph.

Temperatures mainly in the upper 60s and low 70s.

Afternoon (1-5 PM)

Sun and some late clouds.

No precipitation expected.

West winds around 10-15 mph.

Temperatures mainly in the low and mid 70s. A few higher elevations in the upper 60s.

Late Afternoon (5-7 PM)

More clouds than sun.

Showers move in late from the north. Many areas south of the Thruway stay dry.

West winds around 10-15 mph.

Temperatures in the mid and upper 60s.

Evening (7-11 PM)

Cloudy.

Widespread showers, ending before midnight.

Northwest winds around 15 mph.

Temperatures drop to the upper 50s.

Overnight (11 PM-3 AM)

Mostly cloudy.

A few showers and some drizzle.

North winds around 10-15 mph.

Temperatures drop quickly to the mid and upper 40s.

    Love the new hourly sections! Cut some, a thin, short field on Tuesday. Yesterday a bust, but NO RAIN, so happy baling today!
