Low pressure will pass through the region on Monday with widespread rain much of the day. Some of the rain may be heavy, and a couple afternoon thunderstorms could develop over the Southern Tier. Temperatures will be held in the low and mid 60s. Rain will taper to showers by the late afternoon and evening, then end overnight with some patchy fog possible. Many places will see an inch of more of rainfall.

Early Morning (3-7 AM)

Cloudy.

Light rain showers developing.

Southeast winds under 5 mph.

Temperatures in the mid and upper 50s.

Morning (7-11 AM)

Cloudy.

Showers gradually transition to steady rain.

Southeast winds around 5 mph.

Temperatures rise to the low 60s for most, but with a few warmer and cooler pockets.

Midday (11 AM-1 PM)

Cloudy.

Widespread, steady rain, some heavy.

East winds 5-10 mph.

Temperatures mainly in the low 60s with a few warmer and cooler pockets.

Afternoon (1-5 PM)

Cloudy.

Widespread, steady rain, some heavy. A few late thunderstorms over the Southern Tier.

East winds, turning to the north, 5-10 mph.

Temperatures mainly in the low 60s with a few warmer and cooler pockets.

Late Afternoon (5-7 PM)

Cloudy.

Rain and thunderstorms tapering off to showers.

North winds at 5-10 mph.

Temperatures rise to the mid 60s for most areas.

Evening (7-11 PM)

Cloudy.

Lingering showers gradually taper off. Perhaps some areas of fog.

Northwest winds around 5 mph.

Temperatures fall to the low 60s.

Overnight (11 PM-3 AM)

Mostly cloudy.

Maybe a final stray shower. Some areas of fog.

Northwest winds around 5 mph.

Temperatures in the upper 50s.
