Tuesday

What: Sun and clouds.

Most areas will not see any rain on Tuesday. Anything that does fall will be highly isolated and very brief. Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the mid and upper 70s with dewpoints only around 60 degrees, making it feel quite comfortable. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph. Mostly clear skies are expected this evening with thin clouds overnight. Lows will be around 60 degrees.

Wednesday

What: Scattered showers

A small weather system will move in on Wednesday with some scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. Rain will be most likely and widespread during the morning hours, but stray showers and storms will also be possible in the afternoon. In the end, some areas may end up with little to no rain. Severe weather or flooding is not expected.

Temperatures will be in the mid 70s with dewpoints in the mid 60s. Southwest winds up to 10 mph will turn to the west and northwest later in the afternoon. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected for the nighttime hours with lows in the upper 50s.

Thursday

What: Sun and clouds.

Thursday is expected to be dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Dewpoints will be comfortably low in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs will stick to the mid 70s. Winds will be from the northwest around 5 mph. Clear skies are expected at night with some patchy fog in the usual areas. Lows will range through the 50s.

Friday

What: Sun and clouds.

Quiet weather will extend into Friday with another typical summertime mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures and humidity levels will be in the same general range as Thursday, with highs in the mid and upper 70s and dewpoints in the 50s. Winds will be light and variable. Another clear night is expected with the typical patchy river valley fog. Lows will mainly be in the mid 50s.

Saturday

What: Sun and clouds. Some late rain showers.

Most of Saturday is looking dry with a mix of sun and clouds. An approaching weather system may bring some showers in late, however. Confidence on the timing of any rain is low, so continue to monitor the forecast if you have outdoor plans any time Saturday afternoon or evening.

Winds will be from the southeast and eventually south at 5-10 mph. Temperatures will be in the mid and upper 70s and dewpoints creeping up into the low 60s. The chances for rain will increase Saturday night. Lows will be around 60 degrees.

Sunday

What: Scattered showers and storms

Unsettled weather will arrive or continue on Sunday with scattered showers and storms. Depending on the location of the parent low pressure system, there is at least a chance for mainly stray showers. On the flip side, it also could end up more of a persistent rain. Stay tuned. Temperatures will probably top out in the low and mid 70s with dewpoints in the low to mid 60s.

Monday

What: A few showers, mainly early.

By Monday, this weather system should be pulling away. Some lingering showers will still be possible, especially in the morning. Like with Saturday, the timing is uncertain, so most of the day could end up dry with a faster moving scenario, or showery with a slower scenario.

Next Week

Weather models are not showing any strong consensus on when else it may rain next week, likely because any systems that move through will continue to be small and weak and thus difficult for the models to accurately pick up on this far in advance. There will likely be some more rain next week after Monday, but also some dry days mixed in. Temperatures will continue to hold mainly in the 70s during the daytime, and somewhere around 60 degrees at night.
