A dry cold front this afternoon will bring a few clouds, but rain is unlikely for most. Temperatures will drop to the 50s for Friday, then climb back up into the 60s for the weekend. The cycle repeats on Monday with another dry front, a cool down Tuesday, and then a rebound for the latter half of next week. There may be some rain toward late next week and the following week. Until then, sunshine will continue to dominate.

Thursday
What:Â Sun and clouds. A stray afternoon shower.
A subtle frontal boundary will move through the area during the afternoon. After a sunny morning, some scattered clouds will pass through with the front. A couple of these may be able to produce a few spits of rain, but the chances for measurable precipitation is very low.
Northwest winds will increase during the afternoon with speeds around or slightly over 10 mph. This should cause temperatures to drop a couple degrees during the afternoon, but early afternoon highs will still be around 60 degrees. Nighttime temperatures will range through the 30s with light north winds and a few clouds.
Friday
What:Â Sun and clouds
Cool air will build in for Friday on light north winds. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s are likely, though a few areas could sneak a little higher. Sunshine will mix with a few clouds, especially in the morning. Most of those clouds will be thin and unable to block much of the sunlight. A clear, cold night is expected with lows ranging from the upper 20s to mid 30s.
Saturday
What: Sunny
A new high pressure will be in firm control by Saturday, leaving skies sunny and winds nearly calm. There may be some thin clouds passing through during the morning hours. Temperatures should be able to bounce back to around 60 degrees. A light south wind Saturday night will keep temperatures a touch higher, but still well into the 30s for most areas with a few pockets in the upper 20s.
Sunday
What:Â Sunny
Sunshine will dominate Sunday. South winds will help temperatures increase further with highs in the mid and perhaps upper 60s possible. The south wind will help keep most areas in the 40s Sunday night.
Monday
What: Sun and clouds
Another small weather system will approach the area on Monday, leading to some clouds mixing with the sunshine. A shower cannot be totally ruled out, but like with Thursday’s front, measurable precipitation will probably be rare. Temperatures should at least reach the mid 60s. Scattered clouds persist through the night with lows in the low 40s.
Tuesday
What: Sunny
A few clouds will be possible very early on Tuesday, but for the most part, it will just be another sunny day. Like Friday, northerly winds behind the previous day’s subtle front will hold highs in the 50s. Overnight lows will drop to the 30s.
Wednesday
What: Sun, a few clouds
There may be a few thin clouds on Wednesday, especially in the morning. Otherwise, more sunshine. Winds will turn to the south, nudging highs into the upper 50s.
Late Next Week
There may be a chance for light, scattered rain next Thursday into Friday. Halloween on Saturday at this point looks dry. Rain chances will increase Sunday and into early the following week. Temperatures are too uncertain to tell much at this time.
