An area of low pressure over the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast US will spread some clouds north towards the Finger Lakes.
The Finger Lakes remains locked into a tranquil weather pattern with high pressure dominating and preventing any weather systems from approaching the area.
High pressure has built into the Finger Lakes and brought the region a fresh supply of cool air and clear skies.
A cold front will cross the Finger Lakes region this evening, bringing an end to our latest stretch of hot, dry weather.
